This pair of deadstock levis 784 big bells was usa production from a march 1980. Label reads: waist is 28" with 28" inseam.
Tape measure confirms waist size and reads a prewashing 29 inseam. Front rise is 10" with rear rise of 13.5".
Hip measured halfway from crotch seam to fly bottom is 38. Talon 42 zipper is mint. Whopper bell cuffs measure 24 around. Upper thigh measured 3" below crotch seam is 19" around.
Slightly lighter rinse workweight 12-14 oz polycotton denim is virtually shrink proof and indestructable. Deadstock never worn neverwashed with original paper flasher tag on rear pocket.
The 784 is a slimmer version of the 684. These levis big bells have been the hip mod standard since introduction in the late 1960s.
