Okay so continuing with the 1970s vibe this week, ive also been allowing you into the archives of my family. I've listed my grandads swimming trunks, my moms dashiki she wore the year i was born, but this is the biggie. You know when parents tell a story so many times the kids are standing behind them mouthing the words because they know it off by heart.
I wore those flares in 1970 when i saw free play alright now for the first time at the isle of wight festival. I took so much acid i threw my clothes off and rolled down the hill as they were playing. I was amazed i ever found them againthat story got boring. Can you believe that but somehow clearly ingrained in me is something of the essence of this time. I've worn them myself when i was a teenager contentiously wearing something completely inappropriate to parties in the 90s.
It's just the fact that i can't fit in them any more and maybe somebody out there can that allows me to sell them. Those that follow my shop closely know my ethos. These clothes have a spirit. They have more stories to tell.Make stories, make more stories. I added tags'alright now' and'free' to the listing. These are battered, frayed, stained, ripped.
