Sashiko and Boro customised selvedge vintage denim cut-off shorts
We offer denim customised with the ancestral japanese techniques of boro and sashiko. Sashiko is a form of japanese decorative reinforcement stitching and functional embroidery traditionally used to reinforce points of wear or to repair worn places or patches. Boro are textiles that have been patch repaired, originating from traditional peasant farming classes, who mended their garments with spare fabric scraps. We can offer this service on vintage denim pieces - jeans, jackets, skirts, shorts, overalls etc. We can source the denim for you to your specification, or you can send us your favourite denim piece and we can customise it for you.
We customise using vintage kimono fabric sourced directly from japan, respecting the traditional techniques with a contemporary european twist. For a pair of customised jeans sourced by ourselves, our prices start from 150 depending on the customisation detail.
For a pair of customised jeans supplied by customer, our prices from 75, depending on the customisation detail.
